The hot new 2010 5 Series offers drivers a combination of luxury, sporty feel, and family-friendly safety. The technology for this year's model is, of course, more refined and improved since last year, if that's possible. Trim levels for the new 5 Series include the 528i, turbo-charged 535i, and powerful 550i. The 550i features a 360 hp 4.8-liter, 32-valve V-8 engine coupled with rear wheel drive. The 528i and 535i come with either rear wheel drive of xDrive all-wheel-drive, which feeds power to both axles as the situation requires and automatically adapts to the terrain you are driving on. The 528i comes with a 230 horsepower 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline 6-cylinder engine, while the 535i comes with a 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with twin-turbo technology and piezo direct injection, which bumps the horsepower up to 300. The excellent assortment of handling and braking features add to the 5 Series' appeal. Consumer Guide says, "The 5-Series' ride and handling combination is among the world's best." Aluminum double-pivot front suspension, front and rear subframes, and 4-link integral rear suspension help to cut down on vehicle weight. The 5 Series also has front and rear anti-roll stabilizer bars, twin-tube gas-pressure shock absorbers, and dynamic stability control, which can recognize the onset of a skid and quickly stabilize the vehicle. Brake Fade Compensation, Start-off Assistant, Brake Drying, Brake Stand-by, and Dynamic Traction Control also come standard. The beautiful exterior of the 5 Series comes outfitted with automatic headlight control, halogen free-form fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, power adjustable, heated, side-view mirrors, metallic paint, and stylish chrome line exterior trim. Automatic headlight control means that your headlights come on automatically when it gets dark enough outside.
The seating features for the new 5 Series include 10-way power front seats with power head restraints and a memory system for the driver's seat, side-view mirrors, and steering wheel position. A dual center console compartment with a phone handset holder also comes standard. The audio system will have everyone grooving with an anti-theft AM/FM stereo, a CD player, an auxiliary audio input, 10 speakers, Auto-Store, an FM diversity antenna system, and MP3 capabilities.
As usual, the new 5 Series is bursting with convenient features that will make driver and passengers happy. It comes standard with driver and front passenger air bags with dual-threshold, dual-stage deployment, and a front passenger seat sensor. Front seat side-impact air bags also come standard, as does a head protection system and adaptive brake lights. The 2010 528i RWD comes with a 230 horsepower, 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline 6-cylinder engine with a composite magnesium/aluminum engine block, Valvetronic, and Double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing. The fuel rating is 18/28 MPG city/highway. 
This 528i Sedan trim runs with a strong 3.0-liter V6 engine and features an amazing xDrive all-wheel drive system with Hill Descent Control. Some of the features included are a fully finished trunk with an interior trunk release, leatherette upholstery, halogen free-form low-beam headlights and a 2-way power moonroof. 
This rear-wheel drive 535i Sedan comes complete with a 300-hp 3.0-liter V6 engine with piezo direct injection. Just some of the great features included are Xenon Adaptive headlights, leatherette upholstery, a fold-up rear seat center armrest, fully finished trunk with an interior trunk release and a 2-way power glass moonroof. 
The sure-footed 2010 535i xDrive comes with a 300 horsepower 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with twin-turbo technology, piezo direct injection, and Double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing. Drivers will also appreciate the xDrive all-wheel-drive system which sends power to the wheel or wheels with the surest footing. By subtly shifting torque to meet changing conditions it guarantees a great grip on the road. Hill Descent control also comes standard. 
The 2010 535i xDrive Sports is a wagon that seats five and comes with manual transmission, xDrive all-wheel-drive, hill descent control, and a 300 horsepower 3.0-liter dual overhead cam (DOHC), 24-valve inline turbocharged 6-cylinder engine with twin-turbo technology, piezo direct injection, and Double-VANOS steplessly variable valve timing. Hill descent control holds the vehicle steadily at a predetermined speed to help the driver when the vehicle is heading down a steep incline and can be turned on at the touch of a button. The fuel efficiency rating is 16/23 MPG city/highway.
